Madison County Health Department promotes the overall health of the people in our community by controlling communicable diseases, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and reducing hazards in the environment. Over 150 employees make up our Public Health Agency serving Madison County’s 76,000 residents.  We provide clinic, home health, environmental, and school health services, as well as many specialized individual and population-based health programs.
